This Mercury Outboard Extension Kit (Model 227) is manufactured by Bay Manufacturing and is engineered to add 5 inches of shaft length to compatible 30–50 HP Mercury 2-stroke outboards. Each spacer is cast from the same alloy series Mercury uses in OEM production, ensuring long-term durability and performance.
All kits include the necessary hardware—shift shaft, drive shaft, water tube, studs, and more—to complete the conversion quickly and correctly. Some newer spacers arrive painted black, while others feature an unpainted sandblasted finish.
