Mechanical vs. Suzuki Precision Control V6 Outboards
The DF200T and DF225T use mechanical controls. Suzuki's 250 HP V6 range gives customers a choice between the mechanical DF250T and the digital DF250AP, while the DF300AP uses Suzuki Precision Control. Our individual horsepower builders will guide you through the correct controls and rigging for the engine you select.
Which Suzuki V6 Horsepower Is Right for Your Boat?
The right horsepower depends on your boat manufacturer's maximum horsepower rating, hull design, transom height, load, intended use and current rigging. The 200, 225 and 250 HP mechanical V6 models can be attractive repower choices for boats already equipped for cable-operated controls, while the DF250AP and DF300AP provide Suzuki's electronic throttle and shift system for customers who prefer digital rigging.
Suzuki V6 Repower Packages
A complete outboard repower can involve more than the engine itself. Controls, gauges, wiring, propeller selection, steering and other rigging may need to be matched to your boat and selected Suzuki V6. Build your preferred configuration on the horsepower page and Marine Parts Warehouse will review the package before providing your quote.
