Engine-Mounted Oil Reservoir
The 828362A2 oil tank is the reservoir located under the engine cowling and is part of the outboard's automatic oil injection system. It should not be confused with the larger remote oil reservoir located inside the boat.
A damaged oil tank can result in oil leakage or other problems with the engine's oil supply system. Cracks, damaged fittings or deterioration of the tank are signs that replacement may be necessary.
