This SEI Marine Midsection Shift Shaft Conversion Kit allows you to convert Mercury 70–125 HP outboards from a 3-jaw lower unit to a 6-jaw lower unit.
It replaces OEM #79932A20 and includes all required components to properly update the shift shaft and linkage during the conversion process.
The kit includes the midsection shift shaft, shift link, applicable bushings, hardware, and two powerhead gaskets (use the correct gasket for your specific engine). Because the powerhead must be removed to replace the midsection shift shaft, the kit includes the correct powerhead base gasket to complete the installation.
Compatible with 75–125 HP models. Tiller models do not require any modification.
Includes SEI’s 3-year fault-free warranty.
