This New Outboard Extension Kit by Bay Manufacturing is specifically designed to convert select Yamaha 200 HP to 300 HP outboard motors (2010 and newer) by adding 5 inches to the midsection.
Engineered for high-performance applications, this kit is compatible with 4.2 Liter SHO (XA and XB) models as well as the 4.2 Liter Off-Shore Series. Manufactured with quality in mind, the spacer housings are cast from the same series alloy as the original motors, and the kit includes durable stainless steel shafts and studs for lifetime performance.
Technical Note: On some models, it is necessary to ream out the driveshaft passageway with a 1-1/8” hole saw to create sufficient clearance for the female end of the stub driveshaft. Additionally, for 2022 and 2023 models featuring a two-piece driveshaft, this extension will result in a three-piece configuration.
