- Cylinders are precisely bored to the original specs
- Internal components, including pistons, rings, wristpins, and all main and rod bearings, are replaced
- New internal seals are installed to prevent oil leaks and maintain pressure
- The powerhead is finished with a fresh coat of paint
- Maintains the original displacement of 4.2L in this V6 short block powerhead

The short block is compatible with the Yamaha F225, F250, and F300 HP models from 2010 to 2022, which utilize the 4.2L V6 engine.

There is no additional core charge. For those models with a core value, a core return label will be sent with the replacement short block, at which point the original short block can be returned for inspection. If the core passes inspection, a refund check of up to the core value amount listed above will be issued to the buyer; otherwise, the core will be scrapped and not returned.
