How to Choose the Correct Length

• If replacing an existing cable: Check the old cable’s part number—its last two digits usually indicate length in feet.
• If sizing from scratch: Route from helm to gunwale, along gunwale to transom, then to engine connection (A+B+C), add ~18–20 in, divide by 12, and round up to the next whole foot.
