Johnson & Evinrude Outboard Transport Transom Savers

Keep your transom, brackets, and lower unit safe when you’re on the road. A quality transom saver (also called a motor support or “toter”) transfers trailering loads from the outboard to the trailer, helping prevent stress cracks, steering wear, and trim/tilt damage. Types & Uses:
- Bar-style/roller-mount savers: Bridge the gap from the trailer roller/crossmember to the lower unit skeg—great for rough roads and heavier motors.
- Trim support wedges/locks: Compact pieces that fit on the trim rams to support the engine in the trailering position (popular on many late-model outboards).
- Steering stabilizers & clips: Hold hydraulic steering rams centered to stop side-to-side movement while towing.
