The Suzuki DF9.9BTS combines Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), electric start, remote steering, and power trim and tilt in a compact 9.9 HP outboard package. Featuring a 15-inch short shaft, the DF9.9BTS is designed for boats equipped with remote steering and controls that require convenient electric starting and power-operated engine trim.
Suzuki's battery-less EFI technology provides quick starts, responsive acceleration, smooth operation, and excellent fuel economy. The remote-control configuration allows the engine to be operated from the boat's helm, and a Suzuki side-mount remote control box is included with the engine. Power trim and tilt provides convenient adjustment of the engine position for improved performance, shallow-water operation, trailering, and storage.

The correct control cable length depends on the size of your boat, control box location, cable routing, and distance from the control box to the outboard. When measuring for cables, measure from the location of your control box to the back corner of the boat; then from the corner of the boat to the engine and add 2 feet.
